Louis Vuitton Neverfull Value Guide: MM vs. GM, What It’s Worth

The Neverfull launched in 2007 and became LV’s best-selling bag within a few years — which means the secondhand market is flooded with them. Prices vary widely depending on size, canvas, condition, and whether the pochette is included. Here’s how to read the market.

Neverfull values by size and canvas

StyleFair conditionGood conditionExcellent / like new
Neverfull PM (Monogram)$400–550$600–800$850–1,150
Neverfull MM (Monogram)$450–600$650–900$950–1,300
Neverfull GM (Monogram)$480–640$700–950$1,000–1,400
Neverfull MM (Damier Ebene)$500–650$700–950$1,000–1,350
Neverfull MM (Damier Azur)$480–630$680–920$980–1,300

Add $75–150 if the matching pochette (the small zip pouch that comes with the bag) is included. Limited editions like Jungle, Giant, or collaborations can sell for 2–3× these prices.

The MM is the sweet spot

The MM (medium) is by far the most in-demand size. PM bags sell at a slight discount because they’re less versatile; GM bags also sell at a discount because they’re less practical for daily use. If you have an MM in good condition, you have the most liquid Neverfull to sell.

What drives value up

  • Pochette included. The small interior zip pouch is often lost or sold separately. Having it adds meaningful value.
  • Interior color. The Neverfull has a reversible interior pouch and colored lining (red, beige, pink, etc.). Some colorways command premiums over the standard red.
  • Dust bag and box. Adds $50–100 to buyer confidence.
  • Clean vachetta. Same as the Speedy — light honey patina is fine; dark/cracked vachetta is a discount.

Authentication

  • Date code location: On a leather tab attached to the interior pocket.
  • Canvas alignment: The monogram should be upright and uncut on the front face. Seam alignment won’t be perfect (it never is on a tote this size) but the front panel should look intentional.
  • Side laces: The Neverfull’s signature side cinch laces should be cowhide, not synthetic. Laces that feel plasticky are a fake signal.
  • Heat stamp and zipper: Same rules as all LV — see the date code guide for details.
